Ken Oberg
University of Michigan Alumnus, Big Ten Club President 1993 A proud University of Michigan grad, Ken became Club President in 1993 and worked on many different Club projects throughout the years. Always active and involved, Ken helped with the Club Roster and was instrumental in the Rose Bowl Ticket distribution every year. All of us loved being around Ken and always looked forward to seeing him. Ken was kind, fun, smart and well-respected. He made us laugh and always had a joke or something funny and wise to add. Through Ken's many years of service, he represented the BTC with class & dignity. He always stepped up to the plate to help in any direction needed. We all truly enjoyed spending time with Ken and will miss him dearly. DONATIONS If you would like to make a donation in Ken's honor, his family supports Children's Hospital and the LA Food Bank. We honor our members lost and share our stories about them.
"Ken was one of the kindest and helpful members in the club. He was cheery, welcoming, and his passion for the club was contagious. He was involved in all of the events sharing with people and helping organize or participate. As president I could always count on Ken to be at the board meetings and offer his insight and experience which was so needed.
One of the best memories I have of Ken was during the Hall of Fame Luncheon in 2018. We were all sitting at a table and Ken shared some Big Ten Club stories before the ceremony. I love those stories!!
Ken, you will truly be missed by all of us."
