Abbott and the Big Ten are kicking off Year 3 of We Give Blood — the nationwide blood donation competition pitting all 18 Big Ten schools against each other to help save the most lives —at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

Blood Drive: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (sign up here) | Influencer Josh & Jase Meet & Greet: 12:00 - 2:00 PM
Donating blood takes about an hour total (10 minutes of actively donating blood) and can help save up to three lives. Every donation submitted at bigten.org/abbott or texted via GIVEBLOOD to 222688 (ABBOTT) counts as a point for UW-Madison in the competition. The school with the most donations by the end of the day December 4 wins a $1 million grant from Abbott for student and community health programs.
And as a thank you, every donor, or attempted donor, will receive an exclusive, limited-edition school-specific We Give Blood T-shirt and a private VIP tour of the Rose Bowl Stadium.
Anyone can donate at any blood drive or blood center in the country between August 26 and December 4 and submit it for their Big 10 University.
