Hi Club Friends,

Summer is gone, fall is here and football has already started.  Welcome to Big Ten Country.

Big Ten Media Days in Chicago was fabulous and made me realize how classy our players and coaches are.  Each and every one I spoke to was warm and friendly and happy to talk about the game we all love.  It was a fantastic time and especially wonderful to be back in my beloved Chicago.

For those of you who were at our Annual Caucus at the Tournament of Roses House last month, you know what a fun and raucous evening that was.  If you missed it, well… don’t do that again.  We put on some amazing events for our members, so stay active and involved and come on out for as many as you can.  You will find people from many different schools and age groups, and that diversity is a vital part of our club.  It is part of what makes us so unique and special.

Which leads me into my main focus for this month and this newsletter…

Membership.

Do you need to renew?  Do it now.

Are you not yet a member of the Big Ten Club?  Join now.

One click and you’re done!  So do it NOW!  Click here - Big Ten Club Membership.

While you're at it, spread the word.  Bring your friends and colleagues and fellow alums to events, and get them on board.

The Big Ten Club of Southern California has so much to offer.  Like any alumni club we survive on membership dues, but we thrive with an active and satisfied membership base.  This is your club, so make the most of it.

Come out and join us for our Annual Cocktail Party on Friday, September 28 from 5 pm ‘til whenever.  We’ll be back at Rush Street in Culver City and look forward to seeing you.

Go Big Ten!

Sincerely,

Marc Goldsmith
President, Big Ten Club of Southern California
