President's Letter:

President’s Letter

Big Ten Club Members and Friends:

November is here... Thanksgiving is but a few weeks away... and soon we will know which of our teams is going to the Rose Bowl.

As the holidays approach, let me wish you all a happy, healthy and celebratory time.

While the stores will tell you Thanksgiving is simply a time to shop and a holiday to skip over, I say we take some time, some genuine family and friends time, to reflect and give sincere and deep thanks for all we have.

We will see many of you for our Annual Holiday Party on December 1st, or perhaps at the Queen's Luncheon on December 18th.  December 29th will give us the first Rose Bowl Game Golf Classic... pitting Big Ten teams against those from the Pac 12, so sign up, bring your friends and represent your conference!

Finally, Pasadena will be hosting a special game in our honor on January 1st!  Yes, I mean the Rose Bowl.

The beer tasting is being pushed back to January or February, so keep an eye, ear and palate open for that!!!

All information can be found at www.bigtenclub.com

On a sad note, I am sorry to say that we lost one of our past presidents and most involved members last month.  Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of Dave Schucker.  He was a bright spirit and a wonderful person and is already being missed.

Thank you all for your continued and generous support of the Big Ten Club.  We give thanks for you and the lasting relationships we have made through this storied organization.

Sincerely,

Marc Goldsmith
President, Big Ten Club Of Southern California
