President's Letter:

Ah, the month of the Presidents and the heart.

Happy Valentine’s Day and Happy Presidents Day to all of you.

We are working diligently to plan some great events for the spring, including a day at the races and the Person Of The Year event, so keep an eye on the web site (www.bigtenclub.com) and your emails for the most updated info.

Saturday April 20th will mark our annual community service project with the LA Regional Food Bank. We encourage everyone to come out, though kids must be 14 years or older.

In our continuing efforts to bolster the club’s board and officers we are always looking for great people to get more involved. If you or anyone you know is interested, please reach out to any of the current officers. Our next board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 19th. Sorry for any confusion, but our usual location was not available earlier.

March Madness looks like it will be very promising for the extremely strong Big Ten Conference. We encourage local clubs and their boards to provide us with game watching sites and information and will try to keep the web site updated so folks know where to go.

Now go out, buy some flowers, eat some chocolate and enjoy yourselves.

Go Big Ten!

Sincerely,
Marc Goldsmith
President, Big Ten Club of Southern California
